Yasmina Depas, Co-founder of Bloomy Cosmetics
I'm Yasmina Depas, co-founder of Bloomy Cosmetics, a skincare brand inspired by the botanical richness of Southeast Asia.
After more than 20 years in marketing, beauty, retail, and international brand development, I wanted to create something that truly reflected me: cosmetics that are more transparent, with simpler formulas, and more respectful — of both skin and the environment.
Bloomy was born from a simple conviction: the best skincare doesn't seek to transform the skin, but to help it do what it already naturally knows how to do — adapt, protect itself, and regain its balance. This is the philosophy I share here, through articles designed as conversations.
On this blog, I write about topics that drive us every day:
• understanding your skin and its real needs,
• deciphering ingredients without jargon,
• making better skincare choices and avoiding cosmetic overconsumption,
• highlighting natural active ingredients and their effectiveness,
My goal is simple: to make beauty more readable, more honest, and more useful. No miracle promises, no complicated discourse — just clear explanations to help everyone take care of their skin with more confidence.
Thank you for reading 🌿

he Paris 2024 Olympic Games have just come to an end… and they leave us with an incredible lesson about strength, resilience, and the determination of women.
And today, I want to pay tribute to the ones we too often forget: mom entrepreneurs.
🏅 Champions on every playing field
Clarisse Agbégnénou shared that she feels even stronger since becoming a mother — and she wins a bronze medal just two years after giving birth.
And Yaylagul Ramazanova?
She makes history by competing in the Games… while pregnant.
Women pushing boundaries, redefining what we thought was possible, proving that motherhood doesn’t diminish performance — it transforms it.
🌼 A tribute to all the entrepreneurial moms
Today, I want to honor all the moms who build, create, dream, fight, juggle.
Those who, like everyday athletes, spend their days:
organizing,
anticipating,
reinventing,
managing a thousand things at once,
— always with incredible creativity.
Because being a mom AND an entrepreneur is a sport.
A real one.
An emotional, mental, logistical marathon.
And yet… we do it. We move forward. We build.
👩👧👦 When our lives overlap
As a mother of three and an entrepreneur myself, I live this constant balancing act every day.
Wake-up at 6 a.m.
Kids on the bus by 7.
Then a moment to move — running, walking, Pilates — just to breathe before starting my “work” day: emails, calls, meetings, follow-ups, prospecting…
Time is limited before the kids get home.
And then we dive straight back into the other life: homework, baths, dinner, cuddles, unexpected chaos.
Our brains become machines switching from one world to another.
The line between them is thin, sometimes too thin.
But every day, we find a new balance.
✨ How I try to create balance (or at least try!)
To keep my two worlds aligned:
I practice Pilates and running,
I set myself a new athletic challenge: a triathlon in a few months,
I take time to see my friends — even an hour — just to breathe.
These moments ground me.
They help me hold everything together.
They remind me that I am more than a role — and so are you.
💖 To all the mom entrepreneurs: you are champions
You are the ones inventing balance, even when everything feels chaotic.
You are the ones proving that motherhood doesn’t hold us back — it enriches everything.
You are the ones inspiring your children, your clients, your communities, and the generations to come.
So tell me… what are your tips for navigating your two worlds?
Share them. Inspire us. Support one another.
Because yes — mom entrepreneurs are the true Olympic champions of life. 💖🏆
