We are committed to not using these ingredients due to the following reasons:

  1. No Aluminium:
Aluminum salts, commonly used in cosmetics, have been associated with side effects such as rashes, dryness, itchiness, tightness, and tingling. There are concerns that aluminum may be linked to breast cancer.

  2. No Silicones:
While silicones pose no risk to human health, they are difficult to biodegrade and can pollute the environment.

  3. No Palm Oil, Mineral Oils, Paraffin/Vaseline:
These ingredients, obtained from petroleum and coal, are widely used in the beauty industry due to their low cost. However, if not properly treated or filtered, they can become potentially harmful and environmental pollutants.

  4. No Preservatives, including:
    - Parabens: Potential endocrine disruptors that have been banned in cosmetics since 2014.
    - Formaldehyde: Preservatives that can release small amounts of formalin, a skin irritant and suspected carcinogen.

  5. No Talc:
Talc, commonly used as a powder in cosmetics, may contain asbestos, a known carcinogen.

  6. No Phthalates:
These agents, commonly found in fragrances and plastic packaging, are believed to be dangerous endocrine disruptors.

  7. No DEA/TEA/MEA:
Surfactants and pH regulators used in detergents and cosmetics, which can cause skin sensitization and dehydration.

  8. No Micro-Beads:
These small plastic particles do not degrade in water and contribute to microplastic pollution, harming the environment.

  9. No Sulphates SLES/SLS/ALS:
Foaming agents commonly found in shampoos, conditioners, and body washes, which are suspected carcinogens and may irritate the skin.

  10. No Propylene Glycol:
Derived from petrochemicals, its production and use in cosmetics pose a risk to the environment.

  11. No Butylene Glycol:
Considered less irritating to the skin compared to propylene glycol, both being derivatives of petroleum.

  12. No PFAs and PFCs:
Fluorinated chemicals found in sunscreens, hair products, and shaving creams, which have been linked to various health issues.

  13. No Teflon:
Politetrafluoroethene (PTFE), a specific PFA used in cosmetics to improve texture, is linked to hormone disruption and reproductive issues.

  14. No Oxybenzone/Octinoxate/Homosalate:
Chemicals commonly found in sunscreens that have been associated with endocrine disruption and harmful effects on coral reefs.
